Creating Combo Strategies

Building a Combo Strategy

1. Navigate to Strategies

   Go to Strategies > New Combo Strategy

2. Select Component Strategies

   Choose 2 or more existing strategies to combine:

   • Use the search to find strategies
   • Click to add each strategy

3. Set Weights

   Assign importance to each strategy (0.0 to 1.0):

   • Higher weight = more influence
   • Weights should sum to 1.0

4. Configure Threshold

   Set the minimum weighted score to trigger a signal:

   • 0.5 = majority
   • 0.7 = strong consensus
   • 1.0 = unanimous

5. Save and Test

   Name your combo and run a backtest.

Weight Guidelines

Confidence Level	Weight Range
High confidence	0.4 - 0.5
Medium confidence	0.2 - 0.3
Low confidence	0.1 - 0.2

Note

Give higher weights to strategies with better historical performance or that you trust more.

Example Configuration

Conservative Momentum Combo:

Strategy	Type	Weight
SMA Crossover	Trend	0.4
RSI Oversold	Momentum	0.3
MACD Signal	Momentum	0.3

Threshold: 0.7 (requires strong agreement)
